Views of Piotr Bitsilli and Lev Karsavin on the Cultural History in Context of Their Participation in Eurasian Movement

Abstract: The article devoted to the views of Piotr Bitsilli and Lev Karsavin on the history of culture. The author of article compared the ideas of Bitsilli and Karsavin expressed in their books, “The Elements of Medieval Culture” (1919) and “The Culture of Middle Ages” (1918). He shows Bitsilli and Karsavin’s scientific differences and worldviews, their relations to eurasianism and involvement in Eurasian issues.
